HUMBLE (part 2)

Remember your creator and honor your maker.  James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.              There may be times where you think that you deserve to be praised for the hardwork that you do, the good deed you portrait, being the smartest one in the room or even when you're doing great in life. In those times, we tend to forget about our Creator, God the Father up in heaven, we think of our own self; we become selfish; we sin against God.  At times we think we have it all, we think of our own self, our own strength, our own will, our money, our power, our status, above anything else and we tremble, we fall short of God's glory.  The Bible tells us that every good gift and every perfect present comes from heaven, it comes down from God, the Creator of the heavenly lights who does not change or cause darkness by turning (James 1:17) .  The moment you want to you think higher of yourself, remember your ...

HUMBLE (part 1)

Do not harden your heart because the voice of God can not be heard by ears and heart that are harden. (Pastor Manasa Kolivuso).  Zacchaeus was a rich man, a tax collector mentioned in the Bible (Luke 19). He wanted to see Jesus, when he heard that Jesus was passing through. So he climbed a sycomore tree, because he was a little man to be able see Jesus that day. When Jesus saw him, he said, "Hurry down, Zacchaeus, because I must stay in your house today." (Luke 19:5). I would say that Zacchaeus was the luckiest man ever alive on that day. Jesus told Zacchaeus that He would be in his house on that day. WOW!       The story of Zacchaeus demonstrates the love of God; God loves sinners too; God loves everyone. Jesus acted it out while His time here on earth. Jesus visited a sinners' house, Jesus went it a house of a tax collector, He talked to a sinner on a tree, He reached out to someone that tries to see Him.   He visited Zacchaeus that day and He can a...
